Terms & Conditions

We would like to thank you for your continued trust in Cropping Daze Retreat! We have put the following policies in place and we ask that you HONESTLY stay home if you have any of the symptoms below for the safety of our guests, our staff and our immune compromised loved ❤️ ones at home. 

*****STAY HOME ***** if you have or have had any of the following symptoms within the last 14 days ... yes, we know you have been looking forward to this and we know you need to get away but ... STAY HOME! Don’t worry -we will get you rebooked and I’ll make sure you get EXTRA hot fudge on your cream puff when you come for your rescheduled visit!


  • Fever or above normal temperature 100.4 or greater
  • Shortness of breath or trouble breathing
  • Dry cough
  • Runny nose
  • Reduction in sense of smell or taste
  • Sore throat
  • Chills
  • Extreme fatigue 
  • Unexplained muscle pain
  • You’ve been in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid 19 in the last 14 days
  • Traveled out of the country in the last 14 days
  • Please note as with the transmission of ANY communicable diseases like a cold or the flu you may be exposed to Covid 19 at ANY TIME at ANY PLACE. Be assured that we are following state and federal regulations and recommended personal protection and disinfection protocol to limit the transmission of ALL communicable diseases at our retreat.


Despite our careful attention to disinfection and the use of personal barriers there’s still a chance that you could be exposed to an illness at Cropping Daze, just as you might be at your gym, doctor's office, grocery store or favorite restaurant.   By coming to Cropping Daze you are accepting that responsibility and agree to inform Cropping Daze if you are diagnosed with Covid 19 within 14 days of your visit.   WE will take the responsibility to inform you if any one on our staff or any of our other guests gets ill 14 days after your stay.

Every guest will have their own hand sanitizer at their workspace to use for the weekend and take home with them to keep.   We’ve added paper towels to our bathrooms and sanitizer spray for after your shower.   🍔Our dining is spaced out in our dining area and we will keep groups that came together in the dining area together.  🍕You can request to eat in the cropping room if you would like and we can also pre plate your snacks 🍇if it will make you more comfortable.   If you choose to plate your own snacks, plastic gloves are provided and masks are appreciated when you plate up. ❤️  We will frequently be seen disinfecting common surfaces as well. You are not required to wear a mask - our craft room has more than the required 6 feet for social distancing and we will not be wearing masks either. 💃🏻

 We are following CDC guidelines and are in partnership with the MEDC for safe travels in Michigan.  ?

Cancellation Policies

Property and Cancellation Policies :

Cancellations: Requests for refunds will be honored 30 days prior to the event less the non-refundable $65.00 deposit. No refunds will be given within 30 days of the event. Requests for refunds must be in writing - via email to: croppingdaze@gmail.com - and requests must contain the following information: Full Name the reservation was made under, address, phone number and weekend of your stay. There will be no exceptions.

Requests for refunds must be in writing - via email to info@croppingdaze.com - and requests must contain the following information: Full Name (name booked under), address, phone number and weekend of your stay. There will be no exceptions.


Check-In – Check-Out: Check-in and check-out times must be strictly adhered to. Please do not arrive early for the weekend, as we will not be able to accommodate you until check-in time. We ask that all supplies and gear be packed and out of the cropping area by the check-out time.

Cropping Area: Our cropping area will be available to you 24 hours a day from check-in until check-out.

Deposits: A $65.00 non-refundable deposit is due with your registration. The balance of your stay can be made in 4 payments (we will mail you a payment schedule and coupons) or you are always welcome to pay in full up front or at any time. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Check cards. Personal checks and money orders are also welcome. A $25.00 fee will be charged for returned checks. We require that your weekend be paid in full one month prior to your stay. NO reservations will be held without a deposit.

Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates are good for 12 months from date of issue, unless otherwise stated, and are non-refundable.

Privacy Policy: Cropping Daze Retreat respects your privacy. We do not sell, rent, loan or transfer any personal information regarding our customers to any unrelated third parties. Any information you give us about yourself is held with the utmost care and security and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.

Refunds: Refunds are only given when Cropping Daze Retreat, Inc. cancels a retreat for unforeseen reasons and no other arrangements can be made. This does not include forced closures by the State of Michigan.

Special Dietary Needs: If there are certain foods you require or desire, you will need to bring them from home. You are welcome to call ahead or Email us for our menu and snack selections.

Release: By booking online, in person, or by any other means, guests who enter any of our facilities agree and hold harmless Cropping Daze Retreat, Inc., Holly Kaster, Phyllis MacLeod, and County Croppers, LLC, Property Owners of the premises of Cropping Daze Retreat, Inc. from any harm or damages which may occur or may have occurred at Cropping Daze Retreat or a Cropping Daze Retreat event. Additionally, I understand and agree that Cropping Daze Retreat, Inc. will not be held responsible for lost or stolen goods.
