At Cropping Daze Retreat, we (my mom Phyllis and I) think you are too special to simply pick up the phone and order pizza for dinner...and we think casseroles are too ordinary and ho-hum.

So, you'll be pampered with a menu of gourmet items created by me; Holly (owner, caterer, and foodie).  Most of our recipes are a combination of different recipes, tweaked and perfected to my liking. I really enjoy experimenting and creating in the kitchen!

My approach is simple...masterful preparation of meals inspired by cuisines from all over the country.   One night you'll devour Golden Crusted Parmesan Chicken. Then the following morning you could be served Cannoli Stuffed Croissant/Chocolate Chip Brioche French Toast topped with Homemade French Vanilla Whipped Cream, Chocolate Ganache, and Fresh Raspberries!

We pride ourselves on made-from-scratch meals using quality ingredients. So while you're having fun relaxing, crafting, and scrapping, the incredible aromas in the kitchen remind you that someone else is cooking tonight!

And because we want to spoil you with extravagant meals you don't typically make at home, we change up the menu every six months! That means you won't get bored if you're a returning guest.  We do keep a few signature dishes on the menu by request, but we promise they aren’t anything you would get tired of - like our classic Sanders Hot Fudge Cream Puff!   Scotch Eggs, Cropping Daze Breakfast Casserole, and our Breakfast Banana Split (bananas, greek yogurt, strawberries, homemade granola, and Nutella) are the other three items we keep around (again, by request). 

Our tenth anniversary was the only time we have repeated anything else on the menu! You can read about who chose the menu items on our blog.

We also think a mouth-watering dessert should follow EVERY dinner... life’s too short not to indulge and enjoy dessert!  Can we agree?

...and each late-night snack should include options like sweet or savory. (think gooey fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies with ice-cold milk... or...cool and creamy spinach dip with crackers!).  But, honestly, why pick one? There's plenty to try them both!

We so much want your dining experience to be that of your favorite 'casual, but upscale' restaurant that you'll experience: 

• The incredible gourmet meals mentioned above 
• Family-style seating with plenty of elbow room
• Cloth napkins (none of that scratchy paper stuff for you!)
• Relaxing candlelight and soothing background music
• The most attentive service ever
• Did we mention the delicious food?
