| HOLLY'S BABY IS HERE! |
We are pleased to announce that Holly & Brian's baby boy arrived via C-section on January 4th, 2008. Mac Michael Kaster weighed in at 8 lbs. 1 oz., is 22 inches long, and is sporting a full head of dark hair. Holly and baby are both doing well. The baby is a very handsome little guy!

You asked for it, and we have now provided wireless internet access. Your laptop must have a wireless card to get on the internet. Our cropping room computer will remain off-line, so that more guests have a chance to journal and print their personal remarks. We hope you will enjoy having internet accessibility for your laptop computers.

| DATES OPENED |
We have opened a series of dates for which we have received no registrations or deposits. We apologize to anyone who had originally reserved these dates, but unless you follow through with the appropriate deposit and registration, we cannot hold these dates for you. Even with return guests, we have found ourselves with unfilled spots because we trusted they would come and they decided at the last minute not to attend. We hope you appreciate that we must meet our obligations, and therefore we must use our facility to capacity to accomplish this.

| NOTICE OF INCREASE - JANUARY 1, 2009 |
Effective January 1, 2009, the weekend rates for Cropping Daze will increase to $280, with a non-refundable deposit of $65. We will continue to give you the best in service, tools, and food for your special weekend with us. New policy changes will be posted in the near future in the Policy section of the web site.

| MASSEUSE AVAILABLE FOR EXTRA PAMPERING! |
The services of a masseuse are available to those guests who desired that extra little bit of pampering. Hot stones, herbal oils, lotions, and Vicky's magic hands will soothe your aching back, neck, feet, and hands. Local masseuse, Victoria Lickman, owner of Victory Therapy, has over 16 years' experience. We think she is fantastic! The masseuse charges $1 a minute, and there is a minimum of 15 minutes. She will be available if 3 or more guests sign up. Payments for this service are between the guest and the masseuse at the time the service is rendered. Vicky accepts cash and checks only.

| EARLIER FRIDAY CHECK-IN TIME - 3 P.M. |
In response to requests from past guests, we will now open the cropping room only at 3 p.m. so that you may bring in your things and get set up to scrapbook, quilt, sew, knit, chrochet, or bead. We will show you through the house proper and to your rooms at the regular check-in time of 5 p.m. This will allow you to get an earlier start, and it will still afford us the time to make the proper preparations for your weekend of pampering!

Whether you choose to scrapbook, bead, knit, crochet, quilt, or pursue any other hobby, you will appreciate the new table-top lighting at your station. We have added new Ott-Lites, a true, natural light, that allows you to correlate your colors more effectively. Cropping Daze continually strives to bring our guests the best in equipment and services. We hope you enjoy the new lighting.

| TOOLS, TOOLS, AND MORE TOOLS |
We are continually adding new tools for your cropping pleasure. We have recently added three new Sizzix machines - two for regular dies, and one for Sizzlette dies. We have also added a Sidekick machine,12" border dies, and embossing plates. These new tools are in addition to the computer with its journaling programs, rubber stamps, decorative scissors, embossing tools, templates, punches, and much more. We also have a large library of scrapbooking magazines and books.

Maybe that special weekend you wanted to scrapbook is filled at the moment. That doesn't mean it can't reopen!! Many of us receive wedding invitations, someone becomes ill, or other special events in life crop up that we don't know about a year ahead of time. Occasionally, someone has to reluctantly cancel their weekend, and that may be good news for you! If the weekend you want is filled, ask to have your name placed on a waiting list. If the weekend opens up, you will have the first chance to book.

| CROPPING DAZE CELEBRATES THE NEW YEAR 2008 |
Happy New Year!! We once again brought in the new year with an hors d'oeuvres party on Saturday night. Over 30 prizes were raffled off, and a good time was had by all. Complimentary champagne and sparkling grape juice added to the celebration. We had four guests from Ohio, so we were grateful for the good weather!

We are available for your weekend hobby or scrapbooking pleasure any time you desire, except Easter and Christmas weekends (the only exception is when the 4th of July falls on the weekend). Remember, you don't have to be a scrapbook enthusiast to visit Cropping Daze -we also welcome quilters, sewers, beaders, stampers, knitters, crocheters, etc.
